Broken Screen Help
 

Today my phone fell out of my hoodie pocket at work without a case and when i went to use it the next time the back light came on but the screen was blank. i pulled the battery out but nothing changed. now the screen is half completely black and other half is back lit but blank. phone can still make calls and i am receiving texts and voice mails that unfortunately i cant retrieve. anyone have any ideas on whats wrong. do you think a sprint store will replace? Thanks in advance to anyone with advice. will it matter if i have a flashed rom when i take it in?

Just take it to a repair center, and if you have insurance they will either repair it, or replace it with another one.

yes itll matter that u have a flashed ROM, if they get it working and its a way diff setup, their gonna know, plus theyll check or ask if they see something their not used to... thats assuming they get it working right anyways

Touchscreen Broken
 

So today somehow I broke the touch screen on my touch pro I think I may have applied too much pressureto it while the phone was in my pocket..... I now need to activate the start menu some how with the keyboard so I can get to the programs list and do a backup. (I think my recent one should be ok but just to be sure...)

Also any way to make sure it can be hardreset so my data/email/messages contacts ect are wiped. I am going to go back to VZW tomorrow and see what can be done but dont want to give them back a phone with personal info on it.

Any ideas?

Not sure it works with a vzw phone but you can hold down the volume(down), the power button and the circle button and then follow the prompts.

Not sure if verizon works like sprint but I went into the store and waited while my screen was being replaced.

Touch Pro Screen not working
 

So I bought my touch pro on 1/1/09 and havent had many problems with it at all. Some minor stuff, could be a rom issue w/e

The biggest thing that has been pissing me off lately is the touch screen.
when i have the keyboard out, the touch screen no longer works. I thought this could be a bug in the ROM i used, but i switched roms and i still have this problem. Does anyone else have this problem? is there a solution other then to get a new phone?


ps. sorry if this has been asked and answered, i dont know what to search that wont bring up 4000 threads...
