Re: Broke my screen and cant get phone to autosync
man that's tough .... I'm thinking verizon should have a piece of equipment to transfer contacts from one phone to the other even with this problem .... give them a call and see what they tell you about it ....

Re: Broke my screen and cant get phone to autosync
I'm not sure, but try going into bootloader mode, I know it connects to the computer, I never tried to browse the phone when in bootloader, so it may or may not work. If you can see the files on the phone itself copy pim.vol to your pc and replace it on the new phone. But I think you could bring it in to a store and have them transfered.

Screen Dead. Creating Backup?
Greetings TP Users.
I see that many of you have come across the issue that I have now run into, a dead screen. I also know that many of you, like myself, have spent countless hours downloading the perfect programs and customizing various settings... In short, my question is regarding a possible method to create an 'image' or full backup of my broken device that I can transfer or flash on my new device. Once again, currently I can't see anything on my screen however I can still sync it with my PC. Thanks in advance! Nate |
Re: Screen Dead. Creating Backup?
First you should download MyMobiler to your PC, found here: http://www.mymobiler.com/
Then use Spb Backup found here:http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/backup/?en -The trial works for 5 backups. MyMobiler will allow you to view your ppc on your PC. |
