Lol.. i don't see how flashing a rom has ANYTHING to do with a hardware failure like a keyboard that doesn't work. On the other hand, i have a Touch pro that i bought in October of 2008 and have had Zero problems with it. Flashed countless roms.. Infact, two weeks after i bought the phone i was flashing roms.

Flashing has ZERO to do with hardware issues. My TP had issues before flashing. Thanks.

Hahaha!! That's like saying, "Just be happy with your laptop/pc right out of the box, don't change any settings, add/remove any software, and don't expect it to do what it says it will do. It wasn't meant to be changed, it's not fair to Microsoft/Apple/Linux, or the computer manufacturers." Wah!

if you was apple and somone just so happened to put windows on it and wanted to swap it out cuz it didnt work would you swap it?.

Well, if I WERE Apple, and someone put Windows on an Apple machine, I'd have no qualms with it, since I'm an IT manager and know my way around computers. I'd verify that it was a hardware issue, and go from there. Broken keyboard has nothing to do with software, broken screen, power issues, etc... same. But we're not really talking about Apple iPhones here, we're talking about pocket PC's... in whichcase, neither M$oft nor Linux care if you load, reload, upgrade, or downgrade, make other changes to suit your own needs. Besides, how many bugs/fixes/improvements do you think come from developers and testers who push the envelope of the OEM software?

Broke my screen and cant get phone to autosync
 

Need to get my contacts off of my old TP and I have new one sitting here ready to go. For some reason I cannot get old TP to sync to my pc. Not sure if i turned off some type of setting in my phone or what, so My Mobiler and programs like this will do me no good because I cant get the phone to sync so that it will display. Is there a way around this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Dashwire. Set up a Dashwire account and upload the info from your old phone. You can then D/L to your new phone.

provider is verizon. The problem is that when i plug the usb into the old phone with broken screen the computer never recognizes that i connected it so activesync will not start up. Without activesync i dont know how to get the data. If activesync doesnt detect it i cant even browse through explorer cuz it doesnt show up in my computer to browse
