HTC lack of support for QTV video driver VGA

POllo, I guess I must be unclear. Thank you for your opinion and I understand it .I just do not agree with you that it is a lost cause . I also think you referring to the no support policy and this type comment from HTC on models like the TYTN II / Tilt, Mogul / XV6900, etc about not enabling all potential chip abilities.I have read the HTC statements and responses, the Qualcomm chip specs and etc. I understand they are basically turning their backs , I have read their statements on it, read many forums . I am choosing to just stick with it because I still not do believe it is a lost cause for the Touch Pro..not yet anyway...I don;t have my Mogul anymore,,I have a Touch Pro now, and until I get a different phone I will try to make my phone as efficient and current, and performance capable by whatever means I think may help. If you do not agree because of what they did previously , that's your right. It may be that Qualcomm never helps or HTC cannot come up with something better. Even though I bet CorePlayer will someday get a full Driver engineered .Althought it was interesting that Qualcomm aqcuired ATI and there also was a big improvement for 3d driver. Seems a lot of folks over at XDA still seem hopeful too, so I guess I will still hope also instead of giving up, because it looks as if TP2 is gonna possibly have same hardware setup . Attachd is also a 3d cab that is supposed to help laggy interface ,,hmmm by ATI . Some of you I am sure have already done this, but it does show that there are still some new drivers. etc coming out... it may not be the driver solution for video playback , but it's something..install the hologram first and run and check fps. then install the d3d if udont have it already and then run the hologram again.

Here's an odd suggestion... We have money, they want money. They are clearly happy selling the API to microsoft and HTC, surely they would sell it to the coreplayer people. Which, of course, the Coreplayer people are not eager to buy, since most of their customers would not use it, and they believe they can reverse engineer it eventually, anyway. As such, perhaps we could find out how much Qualcomm is demanding from CorePlayer and we could raise most of the money ourselves? I'm sure Qualcomm would cut a lower-than-otherwise price to stop Coreplayer's reverse engineering.

Anyone here work in this business have an idea how many figures we are talking about?
