Has anyone gotten the GPS to work with the HTC Fuze and ATT?
It works on mine. What happens to me is that "GPS Starting Up" can sit there for several minutes sometimes before it finally locks onto the satallites. Try being outside, if possible away from tall buildings - and stay in the same place for 5 or 6 minutes - see if that gets it to lock-on for ya...

I had this same problem too, but found some information that might help:

Install the AT&T Navigator software. It will first install the AT&T Maps software, and then you have to upgrade to the Navigator software. Although it costs $9.95/month, I think that once the Navigator software is installed, the GPS should then be working.

I just did this today, and Google Maps is able to lock a GPS signal within about 10 seconds, and the GPS photo settings will work as well.

There is a 30-day free trial period. I think that you can cancel the Navigator subscription within those 30 days, and then it should work.

I had used a Tilt before this, and now that I think about it, I did the same thing by accident. I just checked on another person's Tilt, and he didn't install the software, and has the same GPS problem.

Re: HTC Fuze GPS

Thanks for the tips. However when I flashed to the most recent version of my ROM, GpsTest seems to work and get a lock within 30 seconds. I can even get a lock inside my house now!

Re: HTC Fuze GPS

Here's an article on the Fuze's GPS: http://www.fuzemobility.com/the-fuze-and-gps/
You need to change the COM to 4 and baud to 9600 or 38400 as well as prime the GPS using an app like GPSTest but the article goes through it in detail for you. Changing ROMs/radios will also resolve it.
