Re: Phone not vibrating
well you aren't the only one it happened to me like a month a ago just exactly like you i had the phone for less than a week and drooped, hours after i received a call and figure out the vibrating it wasn't working did a hard reset nothing worked, this was a replacement i got from asurion for my mogul i call them and said the phone was defective and got another brand new so if you have insurance take to sprint store and said the phone is defective and they will replace it for you at not cost

Re: Phone not vibrating
If the phone isn't vibrating at boot, it's most likely a hardware problem. You should be able to get it replaced.

Re: Phone not vibrating
I just came back from a sprint store and they told me that I would have to wait a week to get a replacement since my problem was minor. They said that as long as I can make and receive calls they won't swap me out there. They would have to order it. I'm going to try another sprint store tomorrow.

Re: Phone not vibrating
Is your phone charging fine? and the soft reset button working ok? I know that the TP has a ribbon that the vib motor, charging port, and soft reset button all channel through that attaches to the circuit board. It's actually really nice how that is set up with all 3 of those on a replaceable ribbon, makes for easy repairs, but you may only need that ribbon replaced? just a thought.

Re: Phone not vibrating
yes my phone charges fine and it soft resets with no problem. They said that all the sprint stores will tell me the same thing about waiting. Is this true, cause I don't want to waste my time going to another one. Would it be easier just ordering through asurion.

Re: Phone not vibrating
Ha I'm glad I'm not the only one! I dropped my phone a week ago and noticed that my vibrator has gotten louder like something has shaken loose inside. I left it alone and it seems to have fixed itself. Then I dropped it again yesterday and found out just now it doesn't vibrate anymore. After playing with it for about a half hour I found that if i shake it around a bit sometimes it will kick in. I do have insurance on the phone but don't want to pay for the deductable, plus there's nothing wrong with the phone as I have invisible shield on. should I attempt to open it up myself and try to fix it? Or should I take it back for warranty?

Re: Phone not vibrating
If you have ESRP, go to a store, unless you just have a 100 extra bucks to spend. Asurion isn't going to send you a phone for free.
