Bluetooth Music Car Integration
Whats up guys.
Alright, I've been looking around for a good way to stream music from the Touch Pro to my car stereo. Right now I've just been using the standard wired cassette adapter, and it works, but I wanted a wireless solution using bluetooth. I looked into the bluetooth cassette adapter, but it does not have A2DP technology built in as of yet, so its pretty much a handsfree bluetooth headset that uses your car stereo. Also, now started to look at Bluetooth Music Receivers. There's a couple Iv'e seen, but I wanted your input. Even if you still have to plug the bluetooth receiver into the wired cassette, it's an improvement. As I am using my standard Ford Head unit and don't want to upgrade to a Bluetooth head unit right now....im sure at a later point tho, i will Here are the ones I have seen: Sony Ericsson MBR-100 Bluetooth Music Receiver ($59.95 plus s/h) http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Ericsson-.../dp/B000NWB0J0 Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP AVRCP Stereo Music Receiver and Handsfree ($14.26, free shipping) http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8422 So, if anyone has used any of these or has any experience with any good devices, leave a post. Thanks! |

Re: Bluetooth Music Car Integration
Hmm... I don't have personal experience with either of those, but neither of those look too promising (the cheaper of the two just looks like a photoshopped iPod shuffle). Now, if your plan is to just plug one of those into your existing cassette adapter, you could give 'em a go and post your results here for the rest of us... but if you don't want to use the cassette adapter or a better solution that will wire into the stereo, you could look into a Parrot car kit. They have several different types for several different budgets. Again, I don't have any personal experience w/ any of Parrot's products either, but have read a lot of good things about them.
