Re: storage card or main?
I installed almost every program into the storage card, the ones i install into the main are the ones i need even when i have removed the storage card from de device, for example those that auto update from internet conection like system seven or weather panel they still work even if i have removed the storage card from de device...

Re: storage card or main?
To elaborate on the above post a bit, only those programs that are accessed on startup need to be installed to device memory (i.e anything appearing on your Today screen)

Re: storage card or main?
the rule to go by is this: if it is an app that uses the today screen, put it in main mem, or if the install say that it's required, put it in main mem.
everything else can go to storage/internal...

Re: storage card or main?
I cook all my applications into the rom then if I have to do a hard reset (I know... Not likely) I will already have everything installed... Of course, this requires a lot of up front time cooking everything into the rom.
Note, if something needs to be updated it is easy to just copy the new file over the old file in the rom so it is not necessary to burn a new rom every time something needs to be updated. |
