HTC Touch Pro and Emulators

emulators work fine on the touch pro... theres a pocketsnes that is tweeked for VGA. i jus played chrono trigger and finished the game. the sound makes it lagg to much so you have to play without it and you have to turn off xt9 for the keyboard to work properly. other than that its smooth and looks great on a vga screen

As for roms your gonna have to google that your self as I dont use emulators...and dont really no if all roms are the same or if u need specific roms for spicific emulators

Also Remember some ROM's will be harder to find than others due the protection by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) which prohibits sites from housing certain titles on there websites.

This was done by the game companies to "increase" sales of these games. Under copyright law as long as you have purchased (AND STILL OWN) a game and want to copy the game to another electronic device (and you haven't copied the proprietary BIOS of a system) it is considered legal in the USA (not sure about European law) however the games protected by the ESA are not under any circumstance to be copied and used for other means besides purchasing the game and playing it on the designated console.

As for the emulators using pocketSNES for best results when it comes to graphics (though as said before sound needs to be off) Some ROM's tend to play better than others (mostly Turn based games)

As for pocketGBA as far as I remember its not a normal installation for windows mobile so that may be why its not showing in your list for Gyrator2 (feel free to correct me if I am wrong as this portion is not researched).

You're correct, it was not a typical installation, is there any way to force the program name into the Gyrator2 list, or am I just out of luck in this area? As far as emulation goes, the TP has no lag during most ff adv games, and no lag with full sound on both golden sun games. Would love to be able to get this working since my job has offered to give me a touch pro as Im the only associate with knowledge in WM phones. Alas, I'm resistant to give up my 6800 that i just got working.... but god the 200mb of ram is so niiice.

some of the roms were tough to find, but as best as i can tell, i believe i have all of the for nes, snes, and genesis. throw me a pm if u have trouble finding one.
