HTC Touch Pro and Emulators

Hi everyone, this is my first post here, and my first time with any non-standard cell phone, so I feel a bit like this:

Basically, I live in Japan and just got myself an HTC Touch Pro. I'm loving it, but still getting used to windows mobile and everything. I decided to put on a couple emulators, but I am having some small problems:

1- fpsece (the playstation emulator) always gives me an error saying it needs more than 16 MB of memory. I know I have over 100 MB of memory left, so I can't figure this out. For that matter, I am not sure what to put in the cfg folder, or if I need to put anything in.

2- Pocket GBA likes to turn the screen upside, so I have to hold the keyboard upside down to play. Any fix for this?

3- PocketSNES won't run anything and I don't know why. I can get as far as loading a ROM when it just goes to a title screen and just stops.

I know Touch Pro owners have gotten these to work, I just want to know how they managed it. Thanks in advance~

I can probably take a stab at number 2, though I am not sure on the others.

It's more of a workaround than anything else, but try installing gyrator and configure it to rotate for your emulator... maybe it'll pick up the right rotation.

Re: HTC Touch Pro and Emulators

For pocketsnes you have to use a program called kfortp and switch to M$IME so the keys will register. I use it all the time and I have no problems with it at all.

I always thought that Emulation on the TP was almost obsolete since the drivers needed to really get anything worth while are proprietary from qualcom.

I'm wondering the same thing. Could someone answer and/or provide links for more information?

Re: HTC Touch Pro and Emulators

Hmm Im using a touch pro now also, Im trying to get gyrator2 to detect pocketGBA so i can get the proper screen rotation. My problem is that I cannot find pocketGBA in my list of applications to set gyrator2 rules for. Is there any way I can make this show up? Ive got pocketGBA saved to my SDcard, and also to the device storage itself under the programs sub folder.
