SPRINT Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24. Threading MMS works! (Updated 3-2-09)

My phone eventually received the messages, but a few hours later... How long has it been since you installed the software and "received" a message (check the Sprint picturemail site)?

In my case, until I actually got the first picture message, the phone would just wake up, and then go back to sleep without doing anything. I think it was something on Sprint's end, but other than those specific settings, I didn't change anything.

However, I did have the older version I mentioned first, and uninstalled it, then installed the new one.

I sent pictures to my phone last night, it woke up then went back to sleep. No picturemail came in so far.

Have you seen your phone wake up when you were supposed to have received a picture message? Or did it stay quiet? I know that when I first had it installed, and it wasn't working quite right, that my phone would actually wake up - but nothing would come in.

I used the clean up cab first, didn't work so I hard reset my phone... still couldn't receive after the hard reset

The process below changing Connect Via to the Internet seemed to work for me. I was not receiving pictures either, after changing that pictures come right away.

Ok, Try this... Open your text messages. Hit Menu, MMS Options. Select servers. Select Sprint. Where is says Connect Via:, Change that to The internet. If that doesn't work, try setting it to Sprint (Or NETWORK as it is on Mighty ROM 4.11-What I have on mine)

is there an alltel version of this version of pic messaging out or a wip bc i have alltel and i would love to have the threaded pic msging, thanks

i had the 5 second audio problem today

I changed it to Connect Via Internet and it still just wake up and never receives the picture message. I think I'm gonna go back to the sprint picturemail at least I wouldn't have to go login to the website to view my picturemail. Hopefully someone will make it work. BTW I'm using the stock ROM.

Just edit the server settings with Alltels. Also you might have to rename the reg entry X-Sprint-MDN to X-Alltel-MDN

You seem to be part of the small percentage of people that it doesn't work for. Since I cant reproduce the problem, I cant fix it. I wonder if your picturemail on your account isnt setup right.
