Re: active sync not working!!!
Right click the active sync icon in your computers taskbar down by the clock and go to connection settings. Make sure "Allow USB Connections" is selected.
If that doesn't solve the issue, on your phone, go to start menu > settings > connections > USB to PC, and then make sure you deselect the "Advanced Network Functionality" or whatever it's called. Sometimes that helps. If neither of these work, reply back and we'll go from there ![]() |

I too had this same problem almost. I wasn't getting any messages on either my PC nor my phone asking anything it just wasn't synching nor recognizing my device. However, I found help on Microsoft's site and it suggested I do what this poster suggested you do and Voila it worked. I seriously doubt you didn't find this what I suspect is that you didn't go to the right location to find it.
Go to Start on your Touch Pro ----> Settings ----> Connections tab ----> USB to PC -----> then uncheck the box "Enable Advanced Network Functionality". If you don't see this then I suspect there is something wrong with your Touch pro because that should most certainly be there. Last edited by Nikkirox_1; 02-23-2009 at 03:41 PM. |
