Post such as these go ignored as it seems that people prefer to complain and cry about poor video performance instead of converting videos and movies to work flawlessly. I've posted the programs and directions on converting movies 710 kb/s and no skipping, at all (after opening, closing and reopening the player). I gave up a while ago though. |

Check out this post. It have a link to what I believe is the fastest video converter and most useful while being free. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...4&postcount=41 |

I will admit something tho- I do enjoy coreplayer more than WMP and Album, especially since I can resume playback where I left off if I close the app. Also, you can play DivX natively... Although the best acceleration and highest bitrate-to-framerate ratio can be achieved with H.264 on Album/WMP, I still find myself preferring Divx on Coreplayer. My original post is mostly just an explanation of how/why all this works, so that people can better understand their devices. A full-on coreplayer QTV support in the future would put this whole discussion to rest...

I have the latest CorePlayer myself & the best feature IMHO is being able to resume where you left off (I do that all the time) I never use it anymore however as WMP gives so much better h.264 playback. ~John |

Re: **The Touch Pro Video Playback Bible**
Thank you for this post! this is very useful information to me as i'm not afraid to re-encode movie files to get rid of dropped frames, I'm a quality (audio and video) junkie and i'm glad to know that high quality video is possible on this device...it's an issue that's bothered me with both my 6700 and 6800...

Re: **The Touch Pro Video Playback Bible**
So would I be correct in assuming that there's no solid solution for playing scene released (a la eztv.it) TV episodes through the TV-out, without re-encoding? QTV seems like a pretty crappy solution to a long standing issue with these handsets. It would be nice if they let people have public access to their custom API/renderer. If TCPMP had full acceleration this functionality would be much more appealing.
I've never really enjoyed re-encoding my stuff for specific devices. |
