Re: How Do I Turn Off The Light That Goes Around The D-pad
Just a thought, but does nueLED not work with this? I actually like it since it's not intrusive, so I won't be trying it out...

Re: How Do I Turn Off The Light That Goes Around The D-pad
Turning it off won't give you much additional battery life. The tiny LEDs in there don't need that much power.
Have you looked at getting a higher capacity battery? |

Re: How Do I Turn Off The Light That Goes Around The D-pad
Hear me out!!!!!!!, the instruction below is how to activate the led lights, so you need to do the opposite
If you have TF3DConfig 0.6.7 Installed: 1. drop the attached tweaks.xml file into Program Files/Diamond TF3D Config/ 2. Open Diamond TF3D Config 3. Open the "Tweaks" Tab and check the bottom four options If you do not have TF3DConfig 0.6.7 installed, you can change the following registry settings: Text message LED: HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\ AvailableOptions change from 11 to 0 Email LED HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\ AvailableOptions change from 11 to 0 Voicemail LED HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D661-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\ AvailableOptions change from 11 to 0 Missed Call LED HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D660-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\ AvailableOptions change from 11 to 0 |

Re: How Do I Turn Off The Light That Goes Around The D-pad
The battery life you would save is minuscule. Leaving the normal screen on for a minute would likely equal the LED circling around for a whole day, if not more.
Anyway the LED is circling because you have a missed call, text, new mail, etc as the others have said. If no notifications exist the ring will be dark. |
