Of constant use how long do you think the batter will last using it as a modem?

I might need to get a 2nd battery now that I got Mighty Rom on there.

(BTW under connections do I need to turn on "Data Connection"? It's currently set to off. When i connect the phone I got it to work perfectly as modem with leaving it off..

I just want to make sure I don't incur any further charges I'm already paying verizon over $120 a month.

Thanks guys, you're amazing!

Re: Is it possible to use it's internet for a laptop?

ive never tested the battery life while tethering but mightys rom does have some good battery tweaks included so it is better than stock, if it still connects your laptop to the internet with data off in connections then it still shouldnt show as tethering data with the ics fix, just to make sure you do have a data plan with vzw correct? b/c the ics fix makes tethering data seem like regular data from the phones browser rather than tethering to a pc/laptop.
