I've had this happen before as well and I figured just opening the keyboard vented it enough to keep it warm and not hot.

Sure, that's worth a shot. I also ordered the Seidio 2000mAh battery in hopes that it will give me a longer talk time as well as provide a better heat sink.

Re: Using phone drains battery faster than it can charge

I've been using my 6700/6800 chargers on my Touch Pro and I'm not experiencing any issues.

According to the battery meter program, the charge current is about 835 using that charger and the discharge on a phone call is about 460. Also, I'm using the Telus radio which has noticeably decreased the amount of heat my phone is producing... But either way, I was able to talk on the phone and charge at the same time for about 45 minutes no problem.

Re: Using phone drains battery faster than it can charge

did it maintain an ~800 mA charge during your phone call? bc i've noticed on mine that using while charging for some reason drops the charge rate to in the 400-500 mA range.
