best way to test from the phone- pocketIE, head over to dslreports.com/mspeed

pick the largest you can (it will be too small), wait for it to give you an error, and then pick the 1MB file.

My tests are returning 1010kbps (approaching 1Mbps), which sounds about right. Tethering to your PC makes the most accurate testing tho, as we've mentioned.

Are you in an EVDO Rev. A area?

I don't have 3G because Sprint won't put up the towers where I live, now if any of you know how to climb the tower and get 3g to magically work please share I would gladly climb towers all across town to get this working.

So, since I don't have 3G, which must mean I'm a NOOB I decided to test at mobilespeedtest.com, in a 1x area I did three tests with an average of 300kbps, I was doing the 3MB file. There is no way that is right.
