Re: People with battery issues... Ever try this thing?

Earlier in the thread I was asking for you to provide details on your experience with the backup charger. What I meant was how you use it. Do you plug it in and it charges the battery or is it only usable while plugged in (which would be ackward).

The Richard Solo product, for blackberry, is supposed to be able to charge your BB almost twice. I was hoping to compare the APC product's abilities. I'd rather spend $60 for a more compact and efficient powerpack then have a cheapy you gotta keep plugged in.

Experience with that APC Mobile Pack? I am quite impressed actually. In terms of how to use it, well it has two USB ports. The standard is for charging the external device, while the mini-USB is for charging it's own internal battery. Simply plug the USB cable (provided or use the HTC OEM one) into the phone and press the button, the phone starts charing. When it's full the battery pack would stop providing juice unless you tells it to (press the button again.)

It has lights to indicate how much juice it has in it. You can always press the button in the front to show how much it has left at any moment.

Before I bought my 3,000 mAh battery, I was able to get about 3 full charges out of it. It's pretty small actually, fits in your hands nicely. A bit wider than the phone itself but about the same height. Quarter inch thickness is quite small.

I have it in my messenger pack all the time. It has saved me many times before I got the 3,000 mAh massive battery. Still, it's good to know that you can always have multiple "batteries" in one package. Oh yes, it charge other devices that uses mini-USB too.
