haha.. Not what I meant. This has happened to me before. I lost my phone and now someone has it. I dont mean to sound like a jackass. I would return it if I could get a hold of the numbers. I would take it to the Sprint store but they will probably just keep it. I had a friend who used to work at a Sprint store and told me they just keep the phones that are found and returned.

....and this is better than you keeping it? They probably just keep them because the person who lost it already has another one headed their way.

Thank you.. Finally, someone understands me. I am not an ***whole. I would return it if I knew how. But if its not possible.. why not fix it and give it to someone who wants to upgrade from a LX160 by LG.

if the only thing broken on the phone is the screen and it will power on, why not use one of the active sync utilities to let you see the screen on the pc i think there is one called my moblier (SP) that will install from the pc without need to touch the device. this way you can see the contacts on the phone and the call history maybe the phone has a listing for Mom or Home so you can get in touch with the owner. Just my 2c

I would think that a carrier would be able to track down the owner with the ESN number or the sim card depending on what version it is. The sync solution sounds really smart too.
