TP keeps stop charging while plugging in thr usb and using wmodem

May be a heat issue. If you are charging while using data heavily the TP can really heat up. I'm not sure but your phone may be suspending the charging to keep itself cool.

Does it not charge at all or only after a bit (like when it heats up)?

There's also an option somewhere that chooses whether to charge while connected to a PC.
