Re: EVDO (Sprint) Connection Hang...
It would be nice if it was... the mogul had not done this to me though, for the better part of a year. Up to just a couple days ago when it was retired. Odd timing, but hey why not!

Re: EVDO (Sprint) Connection Hang...
I use to have this problem after I installed Micro. NET 3.5 and the Advanced Config tool 3.3. After I made all the changes that I wanted I uninstalled Micro. NET 3.5 and Now I dont have the Network hang up problem anymore.

Re: EVDO (Sprint) Connection Hang...
I know Microsoft NET 3.5 shouldn't have anything to do with the Network Connection, but After I installed it is when I starting seeing the network hang ups (up to 3 times a day). Since I have removed it (1 week ago) not 1 hang up.
Also to Maui6700dude it seems as the tweaks that I did have stuck, but I have not yet uninstalled the Advanced Config. Tool 3.3. I just can not use it now that Microsoft NET 3.5 isn't on my phone. The only tweaks I did were: Change file system cache to 8MB Change file system filter cache to 131072 Change Glyph cache to 32KB **You can always reinstall Microsoft NET 3.5 if uninstalling it doesnt fix your Network Hang ups. |

Re: EVDO (Sprint) Connection Hang...
Yeah, I'm against random changes on principle
No hangups lately here either, so looking more like a sprint network issue. |

Re: EVDO (Sprint) Connection Hang...
Hi guys, I thought I'd update my findings a bit. I haev still suffered the internet hang problem up untill yesterday. I thought about what may have to do with the connection being lost. I think just be default I've been doing my phone settings a certain way not really thinking about the concequences. I did one change, set the "location" setting in phone services back to "on" and I haven't had the problem since.
