Only thing that will work in your favor is getting a tech/rep that knows or document that shows this is a know issue. Theres nothing current in our Known Issue section about those yet. I know its happening so when someone comes in with that issue, I just approve it for an exchange. But again, its gonna be you getting someone that knows about this.

are you guys getting ur replacements sent straight to your house? I just brought my phone in yesterday to get mine replaced (had the rainbow oil slick under the screen) and they had to order one for me, but said to come pick it up on Tuesday at the store.

Nothing to worry about.

1.8 lbs. is a brand new TP in original box with all accesories.

Mine arrived Friday and the UPS package weighed 1..8 lbs.

I didn't know you can just call *2 to get a replacement with TEP. I will do this if I get a refurb this week. I hope the store lets me keep all the the new accessories...

So I got my replacement TP, brand new retail box!

I am sending my old TP back, but the envelope is really small, so I assume I don't need to send accessories back.


I CAN fit the new memory card in there and the old battery.

Should I send those two? I have a 4gb memory card and extra 1gb cards, so I don't really need it, but an extra battery is always good.

Send the phone and battery cover only.

You can keep the stylus, battery, and memory card. Other users have reported only being required to send the device with battery cover
