Re: Possible GPS Fix from HTC Soon
I found this site a little earlier today. Did the tweaks, and have noticed no lag whether walking or driving on the freeway.

Re: Possible GPS Fix from HTC Soon
Well, thankfully we've got some hope for this. Just leave it to he guru's here and at XDA to rip the ROM apart for us CDMA users.

Re: Possible GPS Fix from HTC Soon
Just an update from my friend's Fuze (GSM).
He tried iGo among many other GPS utilities/software, according to him, he has less than 1 second, if not less than half second of lag issue with a Touch HD Radio. Sometimes I hope HTC would go like "Ahh CRAP" when they realized that the little trick of disabling FM actually screw up the GPS can't hide any longer... |

Re: Possible GPS Fix from HTC Soon
Er, I got a 1/xxx/09 build date TP just yesterday. Loaded up TomTom6, took it for a drive. No gps lag*
* "no" means no different then the mogul, possibly better. Highway speeds, no more then a second or so off, 10-20 yards maybe. Anyway, looked and felt like the mogul gps without the lockups ![]()

ah, first impressions are deceiving.. shet, I thought the same, but there are times when driving that the lag becomes apparent. (google/live)
although I have not tried any tweaks to the gps yet.
