Yeah i agree bro, thats what i was thinking thats why does no matter what device are you on as long as you can run the the app and have the restore file you are good to go..

One more thing to add, may not matter for you guys. I use PIMbackup to transfer everything from a mogul to a TP and when looking at my text messages all I could see were my own. Taking advice from someone on here, and I cannot remember who, if you set your text messaging to original or not threaded and restore your messages and then change it back to threaded, they will be there correctly. At least they were for me.

I've noticed that too, thats why i use PIM back up ONLY to back up contacts not to mention Dashwire is connected and sync at all times that way i keep track of all my conversations.

one reason why i dont use dashwire, I rather keep my own data regardless
