OP, start off witha custom ROM then move onto a kitchen. I also, recomend that you use the stock rom for atelast a week or two before even considering to flash! You need to learn the device and its quirks before you can ever learn to appreciate the artwork that the ROM builders on here display. |

Re: Newbie Questions...
like others have said, give the stock rom some time, and get used to the phone. use it for a month or two, figure out what you want the phone to do, and what it can't do, install some reg edits, cabs, etc, and try to make the phone do as much of what you want it to do as you can. if, and when, you require something above and beyond what the stock rom can provide, you'll at least know what you're looking for when choosing a rom, as well as have an understanding of what your phone actually is.
too many people jump the gun and take the phone out of the box and install custom roms, before even taking the time to get to know the device. and if they're on here asking how to unlock their phone, and which rom is best, most likely, they shouldn't be doing any of this yet. within a few months time, you'll be surprised how much you've learned about it, unless you're a complete 'tard, in which case... nothing can help you lol |
