Re: How do you stop startup programs? (dashwire)
So if you don't want it running all the time and you don't want to sync manually, what do you want it to do?

Yeh i was going to say the same thing. The whole point of dashwire is to have it running all the time so your phone/computer will always be in sync

Re: How do you stop startup programs? (dashwire)
Well when I am not at my computer, there is no need for it to eat up my battery uploading every picture, text, or new contact. So I'd rather it just by completely in sync when I start the program, but not on every start up.

Try this. It works great...I can Sync and it kills it after disconnect. Love it. If you want it to work with Active Sync only

Doesn't quite solve the problem for Dashwire, but I guess it works for AS issues. However, I haven't heard any reports of AS issues with the TP

Personally.. I manually sync the things I need... and then I never have to worry about it autostarting. Wiht the Auto Sync, it starts as soon as the Phone turns on and scans for changes as you make them. Then when it see's that you have an idle connection, it will auto sync. How do you honestly think that this program with do anything automatically if you dont first allow it to start?
