Great news I just got off the phone with sprint. My TP is still under manufactures warranty and it had defects not big ones but none the less there are some defects. I should have my NEW TP hopefully my the end of this week with a return kit for my current one. I hope all goes well with the new one. And if anyone wanted to know my build date was 10.19.08 and i activated it on 10.31.08

What did they consider to be manufacturing defects that were covered under warranty?

Back in stock, just got the email around lunch time. Placed my order online and just got off the phone getting the credit for the order (I had the chrome chipping problem). Said free overnight shipping, so I hope to have my new one tomorrow!

After getting a refurbished phone with the "blown" speaker issue I just received a brand new in box touch pro in the mail. Build quality seems better with the home button flush/keyboard slide more firm. We'll see how it holds up.

i dont suppose they trade out TPs that burn my hand while i talk on the phone, do they? 11/26 build date. i've never felt a CPU get this hot before in a smartphone..

I just got a brand new phone through advanced exchange, I had a leaking LCD, and some funky button issues. I am a little surprised it was new and not refurbed. Build date is 12/25/08. Merry Christmas to me.

Did they charge you the full amount for the phone, 650+? Did you already return the defective phone to sprint? If not, how did you manage to get them to credit your account?
