Guys, I am stunned that some of you are not only begging for thanks but are openly admitting to not helping someone because they haven't used the thanks button enough for you! That is ridiculous and sad in my opinion. Our site stands apart from other sites because of the spirit of helping to help, not "what kind of kudos will I get".
If this is going to be the way people wanna be about the thanks button maybe the staff needs to think about doing away with it or taking it away from users with this poor attitude of community spirit. Who's to say he wouldn't have clicked it eventually? Heck, I would have thanked those who were helping him myself until the begging and complaining started. To those whining about receiving thanks, let me ask you this. Do you think I should demand you click thanks for me because I donate my free time to mod this site? Do you think I should value you less as a member for not doing so? I don't have that attitude and neither should you!
