Re: Slide to Answer/Ignore from Touch HD ***Dark Version*** w/ Dark Dialer

custom icon - I'm sure that's the problem. Oddly, I don't see the stock icon, I still see the custom one, it's just that the charge value is way off - actually seems stuck at 18%.

I finally got a call and the whole dialer and answer screen seemed really laggy - it had the phone number but not contact name/pic and the slide to answer/ignore screen stayed up for a good 15 seconds after I had answered the call. Same thing when I ended the call, the screen just sat there saying 'connected' for another 10-15 seconds after the call was gone.

I am using a custom rom and other customizations - does this run as snappy as the stock dialer/answer screen on the stock sprint rom?

Thanks!

Re: Slide to Answer/Ignore from Touch HD ***Dark Version*** w/ Dark Dialer

You can try this registry edit for the battery issue.

HKLM/Security/ResOver/Bitmaps

"BatteryIconLevels" = 101 dec value (was 21)

The other cabs that were on the XDA thread included the phcanOverbmp.dll file which replaced the battery icon back to stock. I removed them from my CAB as it was not need for the Slide to Answer/Ignore feature. There is a registry change in my CAB to change that value above to 21. I tried removing it in one of my prior attempts, but when I did that it did not work right. So I just left it in there.

Re: Slide to Answer/Ignore from Touch HD ***Dark Version*** w/ Dark Dialer

I have tried this on several different ROMS now and I have noticed that this dialer doesn't let the data connection go dormant any more. Anyone else noticing this issue? This severely effects the battery life. It seems that it might add a registry entry to keep the data connection alive, but i have been unable to find it.

Ya i had that dialer, but i didnt fancy the style. I prefer the original diamond style dialer. The dialer you posted has rounded edges instead of corners. The slider though, i may have to try as long as the text is still visible.

Thanks, I haven't noticed this. But again my data connection is almost always active because of Microsoft Direct Push for work emails. I don't think I put in any registry changes to make the data connnection stay on, but I will double check it.

I know that DiamondTweak have caused this problem before. Look up this post and see if these registry entries applies to you.

Are you saying that you don't like the dark version of the dial pad and would like to just have the Slide to Answer/Ignore version? If so I can post that.

yeh i didnt have the problem either, mine went grey arrows (dormant) just fine. Sounds like a tweak issue from one of those programs.

Re: Slide to Answer/Ignore from Touch HD ***Dark Version*** w/ Dark Dialer

Confirming that this works with the Telus Touch Diamond and stock Telus ROM. Unfortunately, I'm having the same problemw here the data connection doesn't go dormant.

Edit: Would it be possible to get a black version with a curtain, please? I may have missed it in this thread already, if so, sorry. But I really like the curtain. Thanks!
