But I think you might have overlooked the push email option. You would just have to setup automatic forwarding all of your mail to your mail2web account and when that account receives anything your phone will download it automatically soon after it was received.
I've never used it because checking every 30 minutes is just fine for me but if you want them almost instantly as it sounds it's really the best option for you.

Did a little research on Mail2Web, and from their website, it seems you need to have your phone connected via ActiveSync to your computer in order for the push e-mail to actually work.
If I am wrong, please correct me as I may have misinterpreted the words.
