Re: ok, this is disgusting..
Oh and for the record, I've had mine since early November, used/fondled it daily, and it looks like the one on the right of the picture.

Re: ok, this is disgusting..
i wash my hands like 20x a day because my dad just had a heart transplant so everything in the house has to be extra clean... whenever i'm touching my phone, i can guarantee that my hands are clean. i clean the phone whenever i'm cleaning something else, which is quite often. its something i handle everyday, so i don't want it to be grimy.. so if under these conditions, if within a month its changing colors so drastically... that's just insane. i don't care what its made out of, or really the reasons why, i just don't think its acceptable. htc should have thought of this. what, they didn't have product testers touching the phone for over a month? its hasn't changed colors across the entire cover, just on the edges.. it looks
ing. it just shouldn't.

But I guess I am with Dr. G at this point. I actually really love this backing to it. No scratches or peeling at all. Color change I could deal with...if it were actually happening. |

Re: ok, this is disgusting..
I went and picked up a battery cover from sprint to die it with rit, and sure enough my original was bronze in comparison. I hadn't even noticed either because it happened so slowly. I put ghost armor on the new one, and I'm going to die the old one black.
Dying it black really seems like the only way to avoid discoloration. What color could it become after black?
