Re: Finally, a silicon/gel "skin" for the Sprint TP...

I had issues with the hard case that you can get at sprint, after so many times of taking it off because the phone locked up when charging, the small tabs break, the only good thing is that you have a 1 year warranty when you buy it at a sprint store, so all i had to do was go in and get a new one free of charge, they can even look up your receipt in the system so if you have lost it no worries.

Re: Finally, a silicon/gel "skin" for the Sprint TP...

I purchased the silicone skin from ebay. It has the sliders at the top/bottom to keep the case together. It works well; but catches A LOT of lint while in my pocket.

I purchased the black one, which ended up not being the best color choice. I stayed away from the white/clear ones, thinking that it would get dirty or ink toner smudges.

other than the lint; i'm satisfied with it. It does make it a little harder to take out since it grabs onto the inside of my pants pockets.

I did try the case from sprint, didn't like that one as it created a gap between the keyboard and it was hard to remove. Tried the hard clear case from ebay which didn't create that much of a gap but I had a hard time taking the two pieces off. At times I thought that I would break my phone in two when trying to get the tabs off.

+1 I have had 3 now, just don't think the gel case would protect it from a hard drop. But I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the sprint hard case.

I actually do think a decently thick silicon case will protect the TP from scratches... Now depending on the height, the internals could be damaged.

Re: Finally, a silicon/gel "skin" for the Sprint TP...

I seen a nice clear hard case at my local alltel store but have yet to try it. It also has a swivel clip on it, but not sure if it's like the other hard cases.

anyone try one of these yet? or atleast find pictures of the back, ect..
update, here's a good 360 view. it does have the triangle cutout in back for fuze, but I wonder if it would still work ok for cdma versions..

Got the case, it isn't too bad. Makes my phone look rugged!

But there is a significant gap on the sides, and the bottom slider is really bad!
