I get the first ringtone in my ear, and then it switches to the announcement. It announces, "Call from John Smith" or "Call from 214-222-3333".

I spend most of my day in the car, so this is particularly useful to me because (obviously) I don't have to look at my phone to decide whether or not I want to answer.

Yes it actually works pretty good for me too. I actually have it play out of my speaker most of the time and I can hear it just fine.

That is understandable and I am leaning toward making the tweak since my bt is on my ear most of the time, but how do you do when you are off bt at home or wherever....can you hear dat isht?

If you are close enough, yes, but then again, you can always assign ringtones to people natively or use a 3rd party program to assign tones to groups.

I can hear it just fine without my bt on. I think it is definately better then not having it at all.
