It doesn't say much... Just shoes what information the phone stores inside the actual picture.

EXIF data is a sector of data attatched to the picture that allows you to see what camera the picture was taken with, what settings were enabled, etc. For example, here's a screenshot of the EXIF data on my DSLR: as you can see, there is more information like the ISO setting that the camera was on when I took the image




Also, law enforcement uses EXIF data of pictures to capture pedophiles, peeping toms, etc.

I just tried the sport & burst camera edits, and after doing the regedits, I dont see any additional options in my camera advanced menu... here are screencaps of the values I changed...


To Enable 'Burst': HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\P6 -> change the value "enabled" from 0 to 1



To Enable 'Sport': HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\P8 -> change the value "enabled" from 0 to 1


did I change the right registries?

r1, those seem to be the right values. Just to be sure, however, install DiamondTweak and go the camera section... It has all the reg edits to enable the camera modes.
