Re: No Music Found In TouchFlo Music Tab
gosh it sounds like you should put the card in a reader, pop it in your PC... format it FAT32, and hard reset your phone
overkill, but I gauratee that fixes your problem. You'd be done by now |

Re: No Music Found In TouchFlo Music Tab
I have had the same problem. I also have found when you download from the sprint music store it defaults the downloads into MUSIC on the main memory on the device. If you download to the memory card the music tab on TFLO will not recognize the songs. So if you have to hard reset you will lose all your downloaded music. I tried cutting (in file explorer) the songs and placing them under a MUSIC file I created on the storage card. After a hard reset I transfered the music back and lo and behold the DRM was removed. Songs showed up but could not play. There is a thread on removing the question mark albums that have been deleted You go to file explorer, application data, HTC, audio manager and delete audio manager, soft reset, the ! albums will now be deleted. All in all the sprint music store is set up poorly I bought a 16GB micro card planning to redownload all the music I had bought since the store came into existence but with a hard reset all will be lost. I did contact Tech Support Level II and they credited me $120.00 for all my prior music since the DRM is different on the Diamond and the Touch Pro since the Sprint Music Store is done through opera, unlike all previous phones which were done through Java. If this helps hit the thanks.

Re: No Music Found In TouchFlo Music Tab
@funbobnopants - I'm not on Sprint, so I don't have that problem. Also, I don't download music from my phone - I just transfer it from my PC.
I've managed to get rid of the ! which is a start, but still can't get the TF3D to see all my songs at the front of the tab. It did yesterday and had been doing for about 1 month, but why did it disappear now (was it because I synced it to stupid WMP on my PC?) and how do I get it back (it just appeared on my phone one day!) @ScrapMaker - Haha, yes, hard resetting would be the best option, but knowing my luck it still wouldn't work!! |

Re: No Music Found In TouchFlo Music Tab
@ScrapMaker - Well, I've put the file on my device and on my card. It finds and plays them.
The issue isn't not with playing it, it's with showing all the files on the front of the music tab. Any other suggestions? |

Re: No Music Found In TouchFlo Music Tab
I had a similar problem when I transferred over a GB of music to my memory card on my Sprint TP. I could see all the the Artists & Albums, since I believe in organizing all my music by Genre - Artist - Album, but I couldn't see a single track. I sync'd using Windows Media Mobile & did a soft reset & was starting to get frustrated with it. Well I played a track with Windows Media Mobile & then they all appeared in TF3D. What a hassle!!! :-/

I Did It!!!
YAY!!!
Oh.....I should really say how It took me ages, but it really is a simple process - I went into "Testing Mode" as ScrapMaker suggested I downloaded Storage Manager and formated my memory (making sure I didn't select main memory!) I then (as blazinazn suggested) deleted the HTC files in Application Data\HTC\Audio Manager and deteled the AudioManager_Eng.vol file.........but I deleted all the files in those folders so the playlist folder, and the AS_MediaList.db and DIDN'T SOFT RESET (I think this is important) I then connected the phone to my PC and made a folder called "Music" on my card and just copied the music from my PC across. I then soft resetted my phone went to the Music tab in TouchFlo (after about 30 seconds, all the songs (with album covers, thanks to MP3tag) showed up! I didn't use Media Player, update the library or anything. I just did those few steps and it worked. I hope this helps and thanks to you guys for your suggestions and patience. Merry Boxing Day |
