The Maximum that a USB 2.0 Port is designed to provide is 500 mA. A USB 1.0 Port is designed to provided 100 mA. Now that doesn't mean that they won't provide more, but you risk hardware damage...

On a USB 2.0 Port I typically see 400-450 mA (as Measured with neuPower driver and control panel). On a USB 1.0 port I would suspect it would be between 90-100 mA (If a had a machine that old I would try it.

Edit 1:
@Coolguy949, The radios draw between 600 and 900 mA depending on signal so if you are charging from a USB port at 500 mA your battery will die albeit somewhat slower.
