Mail Suddenly Quits

I am a proud new owner of a Sprint HTC Touch Pro. Everything works surprisingly well ... except that, from time to time, the Mail application suddenly quits while reading a message or, sometimes, when sending one. This usually happens at the beginning of a session. After the sudden quit, the screen instantly reverts to the Home screen in TouchFlo; it never goes blank.

Has anyone else experience this? Is there a fix?

What particular e-mail service or account is this for? I've read and seen this mostly on Gmail accounts. If it is, there's some bug out there between pOutlook and Gmail but haven't heard anything more useful than that. That, and supposedly doing Send/Receive from within TF3D is more reliable than doing it within pOutlook, not as many kickouts to the TF3D Home screen.

This happens to me as well. The mail application doesn't actually quit, though. You just need to give it some time to sync. I pretty much expect it to crash back to the main TF3D screen each time I check my mail (Yahoo, Gmail, or school e-mail), but I just give it a few more seconds and the messages start coming through.

I think this has been happening to me too. Usually while d/ling Gmail, it kicks me back to the home screen, and TF3D restarts. Actually I'm happy when this occurs because it usually means I GOT my Gmail, which doesn't happen everytime because it can take so long it stalls.

Yea its a pain it mainly happens really on my Comcast account...

I'm experiencing this as well! I think it began once I set my accounts to check periodically...

I do mine all manually so Im not sure that has an impact.
