Re: Ifonz plugin for Touch Pro

I tested ifonz extensively and found it to be buggy and clunky. It definitely was a great app though because it's probably one of the best app launching programs I've ever used. The issue though, is the drivers that the touch pro lacks. I saw a video of this on a tmobile phone and the slides went back and forth very smoothly. I disabled the animation and it worked a lot better.

Anyone else get errors when you try to exit? It exits, then gwes and shell32 error out...

The iPhone is good at what it does, but I'm glad I can recreate almost all that it does plus a whole lot more on the Touch Pro.

Re: Ifonz plugin for Touch Pro

I was referring to when you click on an icon. It just looks so sluggish. It's not as smooth as TouchFlo 3D.

Well it's not as smooth as touchflo cause it's just some random developer from xda... i'm sure touchflo was worked on by many more people...
I don't think it has anything to do with the device, just the program. The guy that made it did a great job, just look at the previous iPhone clones out there (they're horrible!).
Oh, Look up itask on youtube... That has great transitions and even bounces the icons around like the iPhone does. I've never tried it, so I can't really say if it's better than iFonz or not. Clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAsbVrx4TCM

What i'd really like to try is iSwish: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vPt7...eature=related
But i haven't heard anything recent about it.... i believe they're also responsible for this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwWBOZ9ekEw

@chronster: nope, can't say i've ever encountered that error...
The slides look pretty nice to me when put near the fastest on the slider. Maybe it's cause I've used some of the previous clones over the last year, which didn't have any animations or really terrible ones. The loading wheel for windows programs just kinda ruins the click animation in ifonz. I have that animation as a black screen, instead of white... wish there was an option to choose white or black depending on the app.

Yeah, I really like having other functions right there other than simple app launching. What I think would be cool though is if the programs tab had 4 icons across, and was dynamic (allowed you to add or remove icons)

Re: Ifonz plugin for Touch Pro

Why do people insist on having that skin on every phone. Its not attractive at all. I use to have a iphone and the first thing i did was add winterboard to change from that. God get off the iphone hysteria its 2008 in twelve days 2009 come on now. Nice work tho to the creator.

you can chose how many icons you want across, and how many you want to be in one slide, by going to settings then clicking on icons,

Also the speed can easily be change, by going to settings and then slide the speed bar all the way to the right, just play around in the settings and youll find lots of cool features with Ifonz.
