Re: Ifonz plugin for Touch Pro
Here you go, the only video i could find was on a touch diamond (pretty much the same thing). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjc0ddETCdI
I will note that on that guy's diamond, apps seem to bring up the wait cursor more often than on my touch pros (which could be annoying cause it ruins the open animation). Maybe that has to do with having to put everything on his "internal storage." Anyway, you get a good idea of how the animations work from the beginning of the video. Best way is to try it yourself and use some nicer icons than the default ones. I posted a link for icons a few pages back*

Re: Ifonz plugin for Touch Pro
Question:
How do I make a link on IFonz to my "Programs" folder? I want to be able to click an icon that automatically brings me to the list of all programs on my phone. Thanks! |

21#:MSFEXPLORE \My Documents\My Music You can use any directory so long as the path is correct. Make sure this is the only line. Then goto File > Save As. In quotes, put "My Music.lnk" or whatever filename you chose, as long as it ends in lnk. Use quotes to make sure you save the file in the correct format. If you have extensions shown on your desktop, you can simply save the file and replace .txt with .lnk. You can then move the .lnk file to your storage card via usb cable, then from your storage card to where ever you want on the phone's main memory. When you add an item to the app laucher, navigate to the .lnk file, assign an icon, and you're done. You can now launch a folder using a shortcut. This is also a nice technique to create shortcuts to folders in the start menu. Simply place the .lnk file in \Windows\Start Menu\ Last edited by chronster; 12-31-2008 at 02:26 PM. |

21#:MSFEXPLORE \Program Files\ and it didn't work. Then I tried using the line of text as: 21#:MSFEXPLORE \Program Files Still didn't work. Any ideas? All that happens is that when I click the icon on the IFonz launcher it launches a blank, white screen. |

Re: Ifonz plugin for Touch Pro
I believe the easiest way to add a shortcut to you programs list is to navigate to where you placed the iFonz files on your phone via activesync and just right click on the iFonz.exe file, select create shortcut. Then cut and paste that shortcut file in the Windows/Start Menu/Programs folder.
Hope this helps and is much simpler than the other ways provided so far. |

He wants a link within ifonz to a folder on the phone, not a link TO ifonz within a folder on the phone. Oh, and what you're talking about: The best method I've found to create a shortcut is to copy the exe, then right click and select paste as shortcut within the destination folder. That way you create the .lnk file once. Last edited by chronster; 01-03-2009 at 02:29 AM. |
