Anything that has high fps, high resolution, or is HD will run slowly on the TP..

You would think so but not according to the thread (which I can't find) ...
The result was confirmed by more than one poster ... the assumption was that it had to do with the fact that WMP was correctly utilizing hardware acceleration while other players (specifically CP) were not ...

I haven't tested it myself so I can't say for sure ...

Hey the OP said he just downloads and his divx movie plays fine on the TP itself. What player are you using? When I download a divx movie.. and the res is even already at 640 x 380, it doesn't play well at all with TCPMP. When i convert to 320x190 it plays fine... i just feel cheated knowing the TP can do 640x480. Any suggestions on how the average person transfers/watches video on their TP? Thanks!

I use Active Sync to transfer video and use Kinoma to play it...

check this out, i was having a problem with that too, i use ipod videora converter to convert .avi, mpeg and all that to mp4 or mpeg4 for my itouch....well i guess i can watch them on my TP too, looks really good and has excellent audio, check it and let me know its real simple
