oh, nah i missed it... i was just speaking of the 16gb card posted on amazon stating it was class 4 in the description, but coming up as class two with a part number search on google.

but yeah just checked your posts... so that might confirm that the amazon seller is trying to screw people because his 16gb card has a 2 circled on it.

best buys class 4 8gb sandisk doesnt have a circled number though... weird: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1199495884089
it's on sale for $30, not bad for a sandisk at a retail store

edit: here's a 8gb sandisk with a 4 circled on amazon... it's annoying that some of the cards have those circles and some don't - even when it's the same brand

http://www.memoryx.net/tf8gbc6.html class 6 card with a (6 on the card

Your right i didn't see that in the specifications but the card they are showing has a (2 on the card meaning Class 2. I am yet to see anything higher than a class 2 16gb micro sdhc card.

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong. But like i said earlier to my knowledge the number on the card is the class rating.
Strange, I've seen some descriptions say it's an 8GB class 4 cards and have a 2 on the card. What gives? The Card I bought probably is a Class 2 even though the description explicitly stated it was a class 6. I haven't pulled it out to see if there what number is on the actual card.

Maybe they're just too lazy to take a picture of each actual card, so they just throw one up there that has the right size labeled on it.

Re: TP with MicroSD HC (high capacity)

I have noticed some slowdown on my card (8gb Class 6 Sandisk) recently. I know they get fragmented from reads/writes (maybe using Windows defrag is a good idea every so often) but the "scratch on the contacts" thing now has me a little worried. I'll try to be careful...

When you say "slowdown," how exactly? Cause I've been noticing a lot of lag when I play music from the music tab in TF3D.

I've only taken my card out 3 times since I put it in well over a month ago.

Re: TP with MicroSD HC (high capacity)

The slowdown generally only is when placing the card back in, or when new files are added and I've done the Update Library thing in WMP. Just getting the phone to see all the new files again in the mp3 player in TF3D. I mean it is several gigs so SOME patience is required, but there have been a few incidents where 5-10 minutes went by and it reported "No Music Found." Sometimes tapping library and browsing by artist/album etc. solves that after a little while.

I experienced the same thing since day 1. When I sync'd my music over to my TP the music tab would just say "searching.." I had to soft reset for the songs to even show up in the music tab. I have about 6 gb of music on mine.

I've just learned to deal with it though. It still amazes me that something so small can hold so much data. Seems almost unreasonable to expect that little thing to keep up.
