Nevermind, thank goodness I figured out how to successfully accomplish a Hard Reset with a Telus Touch Pro.

Turn off the phone

Hold down low volume button + Middle button at the same time

Keep holding those buttons and press the Power Button and keep it down as well

Follow instructions

There is no need to pull the stylus out or even turn the phone upside down with a Telus Touch Pro like some others mentioned.
