Re: Extended battery/back pictures on Seidio

Wow. that is ugly. It always amazes me how companies design in a vaccum. After all, there are many reviews on the Touch Pro, many of which mention how nice the Sprint back plate is.

Re: Extended battery/back pictures on Seidio

From the way it looks, it doesn't seem like it's finalized yet. At least I hope it's not.

Re: Extended battery/back pictures on Seidio

Wow, you guys are incredibly picky. Is it sexy? No. Is it hideous? Um, no! It's about what I expected, although I did hope maybe they'd get a touch closer to the original design. Still, it looks like they might have made some effort to make it the same texture as the current one, not to mention a solid color instead of painted silver like on the Mogul (ugh). So those are major points for them. All in all, I see nothing to seriously complain about. I doubt we'll see alternatives that look much better.

Re: Extended battery/back pictures on Seidio

It looks like... and extended battery cover. WTF did you expect? Besides I spend 99% of the time looking at the front side of my phone.

Haha it would look better just to leave the back cover off!

Re: Extended battery/back pictures on Seidio

It's the corners and edges of the battery-bulge that make it so ugly. Since there isn't much of a way to get around extending the depth of the back cover for the battery, they could have smoothed the bulge to gradually meet with the lower part of the back cover, instead of the ugly cancerous growth that it has.

Re: Extended battery/back pictures on Seidio

You guys are babies!
Yeah it doesnt look good, but then again, its an extended battery cover...
form vs. function

Its HTC's fault for making the battery so small in size.
On the Mogul/6800 the battery was much longer and thinner, making an extended battery fit much more smoothly.

Re: Extended battery/back pictures on Seidio

I knew the back would be somewhat like this, I'm just saying the couldve designed it a bit more curvy to not look like a goitre coming out of the phone
