Skype 2.5 On Sprint Touch Pro

good stuff, got it working on my old mogul as well, clear as can be... ive had skype some time just to try to get it to work on one of my phones... soon as they perfect it im dropping down to basic plan wit unlimited data and text... and use skype out and my current sprint number as my caller id... hehe

Which cellular carriers work with Skype in USA?
I've heard some of them (or all?) block it.
Can you use it over EDGE? GPRS?

not quite sure if it helps, but i'm using wifirouter from one mogul to another to connect to skype... using sprint evdo... ?

one mogul is on my account, the other is one i lost and now has a bad esn but the wifi still works... ?

So I finally have skype working on my mogul with 2.5 beta, purchased skype in/out... got a number of my own so people can call me, and a number to call out to make free skype out calls...

So..... Whats the best way to use this in combination with Srint EVDO and wifirouter... I'm looking to cut down to less minutes and unlimited data and text... I know there is a program for PPC's (skype IM plus) that allows you to call and connect two phones simultaneously?? Does Sprint still offer their unlimited incoming calls? If so this might work? Just food for thought??

Have the program on your phone call you (free incoming plan) and simultaneously call the person you wish to dial...

I found on another page that the Touch Pro is listed as running Windows Pocket PC, not Windows Smart Phone.
Upon reading this I downloaded the PPC version and it works perfectly.

Well, yes, I can only assume that the smartphone version would not have touch screen support.

I installed Skype 2.5 last night and it worked fine but now phone is locking up during text messages.

Well I'm guessing your a lurker (likes any new member) is because you have posted enough to be a ppcgeek seeing as if you post today and next time you post again its end of lets say april than but you view the site every other day than you are lurkering but not as we would call "active" so if you see a post you can put in good input(or funny cause everybody should like to laugh ) than jump in there! Hope this explain why your status is a "lurker"
