something to mention if considering this phone also; The day you order it is the day your 30 day evaluation period starts, even if you have to wait for it in the mail. This can screw people up if they want to test it for 30 days from activation (when really you have like 21 days most of the time.)

I wouldn't compare att and verizon to sprint sales... att has the iphone, so the touch pro probably won't sell as quickly there.. and well, verizon... i would be looking for other options if i couldn't even run tf3d. This and the diamond are clearly sprint's flagship phones.
But yea, you're right, i'm sure it's about limited supply too.. but it's gotta be a mix of being a hot item and being in limited supply. Imagine if they advertised for it though...

Advertising this phone like they did the instinct would result in more sales, but generally speaking, phones like the instinct and iphone get so many commercials because they are easier to use. I'm not saying they are for dumb people, but they do appeal to a broader range of audience.

I actually haven't seen a single touch pro commercial. Has anyone? I think that says something (in terms of it's availability & amount spent on advertising.)

the one thing i noticed about sprint is the way they back-door all the windows phones.i still don't know alot about the internet and programs and all that but i choose the treo 700wx because i felt like if i was going to have the net on the phone,why not pie? i have yet to see advertisement for any windows phone from sprint.hell,i didn't know about the pro til i joined ppcgeeks!most of the time,these phones are word of mouth.

I havent been able to find stock anywhere for over a week. All stores in Houston are OOS and the website along with telesales has zip.

anybody try ebay?...with a clean esn you can swap phones by calling sprint or do it online....can get one between 350-400 if you look...got mine for 375 no activation fee and no signing new contract

Actually, your 30-day period begins on the order date if you don't activate it. If you do activate the phone, the 30-day period begins (again) at activation.

Had a buddy that went to get the TP and they told him they were on back order till MARCH and he had to settle with a DIAMOND.
