Re: Visual Voicemail from Sprint is here and Free!
Actually, that link is to sign up for the FREE "Lite" version. I did, and it works ok so far. If you read, it says you can also choose the Premium package instead and get it free for the trial period. But the form on that page is definitely the free version. Im using it right now.

Re: Visual Voicemail
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Grandcentral.com, a company that was bought by Google last year. It won't work in the same way as these services, but basically you get a "number for life" at a huge array of area codes (I got my local one) for free, then you just give out that one number vs. your home number, your cell number your work number, etc. It will forward to multiple lines AT THE SAME TIME. So if you are at your home or work and have them set up as well, you can opt to pick up a landline instead of the cell. You can retrieve voicemail via a web browser, so just use the one on your phone. The execution isn't always perfect which is why I've not given everyone my number, just a few. Unfortunately after Google bought them, there hasn't been much of anything in the way of news, new features, etc., but it still works and it doesn't look like it's going away...

The problem with that is, I've been on their "waiting list" for over a year now, and not a peep as to letting more people in. That's great that it works "all right", but if no one new can get in, it's not much use to the majority of us. /not envious at all of not getting an invite when they were like candy, nor a new batch from Google themselves. Edit: Argh! Coz beat me to it. |

Re: Visual Voicemail
Coz most certainly did...and I will continue to refer to myself in the third person.
Y'all might also check out Dashwire. There is a thread in the Software Forum regarding it. But Coz will not be providing a link at this time. late, Coz |
