Re: Looking for a Sprint TP....

You can buy a brand new factory sealed sprint TP on ebay for $400 & activate in on your vz account (that's what I did)

That way, you have no recourse if it breaks however. I have used cell phones for years (I had a "bag phone" at one point) & never broken one yet so I'm not too worried about it.

If you're rough on your phones you may not want to go that route however.

My main concern is that the phone will have a manufacture build problem like the battery not being able to charge due to heat or something. Then not being able the exchange it because I got it off ebay. Or really is that thread just over exaggerating the problems and I should not worry about it?

Re: Looking for a Sprint TP....

I just got my Verizon TP today, and it is very nice, but I'm thinking since I do send my warranty claims back to Verizon, I don't want to get stuck with a bad Sprint version. I'm now on the fence about it. The Verizon TP is actually not that bad. My only reason for wanting a Sprint version is the RAM, rounder design, and I guess that's pretty much it. I can get used to the keyboard, I have headphones from my Titan which are still in the original packaging.

I have bought all mine & my families phones off ebay and never have had a problem...if it has a clean esn # you are ok.....if you bought a sprint htc product brand new you should be covered at least by HTC...and as long as it is activated to your cell number I think you could probably get by on sprint with any kind of recall......you can always use some gentle persuasion [take my business somewhere else sort of persuasion].....but in the end it is up to you plus I believe you can add insurance to the phone but I might be wrong
