if you dont mind, post a link in this thread for some ppl to try. I might take a look at it has well. Maybe help you get some of the junk out of there.

Also it will not matter what kind of results that you get, it is the journey that takes you there. I mean looking back now. how much have your learned about all of this? I am sure a lot. and from there you can build unto that, and keep on building. It might just be for yourself. but overtime, you will have a great rom, that you and everyone else can be proud of. Trust me I know, I started out not even knowing I could port a 6.1 SYS folder to alltel OEM folder. and make a stock 6.1 rom. I was clueless. But after many trial and error I was able to work it all out.

So It is Just great that you are builiding an alltel rom. You get mad props for that. Keep on building and after every flash, think about how much more you know now.

Agreed, let Conflip check it out. It'd be nice to have an Alltel specific ROM for us folks.

Re: Alltel users what rom are you running?

Next ? for the Alltel guys, how's your GPS doing?

I know with my Vogue I had to do the radio update, QPST progamming and the cab for the reg edits.

I got a lock using my Pro yesterday and it was quick, unfortunately that was the only time it has locked.

Any input on the GPS subject?

Re: Alltel users what rom are you running?

The build I made has a quick GPS lock; used it last night for the first time and locked in about 10-15 seconds.

I did find the first issue with my new build where the volume buttons don't work, they just move selections up and down, so I need to figure that out. I'll try to figure out the best way to host my ROM and post it tonight after work.

Thanks for the words of encouragement!

It's my understanding the the Pro and Diamond ROMs are very similar and ConFlip's not the type of guy to rip off your work.

It's always good to work together to accomplish something, that's what this is all about.

Oh, I know... I used Con's ROMs on the short time I had the Diamond, and they worked great. I can't take much credit for my build as it is since it's a mutated form of eRice's kitchen and random items I've pulled from the Diamond Kitchen and PPCKitchen.org.

If you need space to upload the Alltel Pro ROM just hit me up (PM), I can host it if need be.

I miss my picture/vid text...

I may hit you up on that; I'm limited on my storage and bandwidth on my domain.

It seems I can receive pic texts, but cannot send out on this build. Not sure what's up with that yet. I don't normally send out pics; I know it works properly on ConFlipper's Diamond releases.
