Re: PocketShield Bug?
Yeah I tried that, I went to Total Commander, program files, deleted the Pocket shield directory that was left after uninstall. Searched for more Pocketshield files that might have been lurking around, checked the windows>Startup folder and didn't find anything. Soft reseted it and still no dice...
Anyone have any ideas?? I hate programs that leave a trail on your phone after you've uninstalled them. Does this require a reg edit or something ? |

How do i backup? My active sync does not work...I just posted on the previous thread saying that it doesn't. What's an alternative way to do this?

Re: PocketShield Bug?
Use SPB back up or sprite back up, they are both paid apps but give you a free trial.
http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/backup/?en This is a must have like having a ppc..lol |

Re: PocketShield Bug?
How do I install a file (for example, Icontact6.5beta.msi on my PPC?) since my active sync does not work. Is there another way to install this? Thanks...

Re: PocketShield Bug?
since I am not sure about that file extension "msi" I will say that if you have a CAB file for it you can just email it ,grab it from your email acc, save the attachement to your SD and run it that way..just looked up msi, do you have a cab file?
and what's up with your active sync? got xp or vista? Last edited by HBOOT; 12-07-2008 at 01:14 AM. |

Re: PocketShield Bug?
I think the .msi format is for active sync installation, I don't have the .cab file...how do you normally install non-cab files on your PPC through your computer??
