DO NOT INSTALL UNLESS YOU HAVE GSM!

As quoted from an Admin from the site I found this at..

Quote:
GSM only I assume, with the CDMA phones probably getting any fix needed from their carrier.

Re: HTC issues Touch Pro security update

In order to run it from the storage card, or anywhere else it would have to be a cab file. When that's done it places the exe file in the correct directory. Since it's already an exe file it should work just placing it in windows directory

Re: HTC issues Touch Pro security update

As a somewhat side note, for poor slobs like me who never got AS to work properly these .exe patches are thing of dread. Anyway, I'm leaving this one be.

Re: HTC issues Touch Pro security update

It installed fine but never connected the TP properly with the computer. It found the device in Windows XP, but then wouldn't do anything.

I ran the programs "diagnostics" which seemed useless and the only thing it said was something about Outlook not being installed (which it isn't, I hate that program and think it's retarded of MS if they require it be installed to have AS work).

So, either I need to make some adjustment to the TP (maybe in ActiveSync app on the phone?)/my computer/the XP program or just forget it I guess.
